The Global Retail Crime Summit is intended for learning, networking, and collaboration amongst the retail loss prevention / asset protection, and law enforcement community. We want all participants to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. Accordingly, all participants are expected to show respect and courtesy to others.
This Code of Conduct outlines the expectations for behavior at the Global Retail Crime Summit. All participants, speakers, event partners, exhibitors, and volunteers are required to abide by this Code of Conduct.
The Global Retail Crime Summit is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any digital event venue (e.g. exhibit booths), including in talks and presentations. Participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference at the discretion of the event organizers.
Harassment includes:
offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion;
Sharing sexual images, or unwelcome sexual attention;
deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following; and
sustained disruption of talks or other events;
Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the event organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the event.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact the event organizers immediately. We will be happy to help those experiencing harassment to feel safe. We value your attendance and participation.
