By registering you are agreeing to the Summit Terms and Conditions, Summit Privacy Policy and Summit Code of Conduct.
These terms and conditions for event registration and attendance (the “Terms") are binding on you and anyone that you may also register to attend the Summit. By registering, you agree:
to be bound by and shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms, which you acknowledge to have read and understood; and
to be bound by and shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms, which you acknowledge to have read and understood; and that you have obtained the consent of your employer, to the extent your employer may so require, prior to registering for the Summit and becoming bound by these Terms. If you are not authorized or do not agree to any of these Terms, you may not enter, view or make use of this website for the event or register for or otherwise attend, the Summit.
Your free registration will include access to the virtual online Summit. Access details will be provided to you prior to the event date.
We reserve the right to refuse or revoke event registration and admission to any individual at our sole discretion, including denying admittance to the Summit to anyone who has, in our opinion, registered under false or erroneous pretenses.
As this is a virtual event, you must truthfully represent yourself with your real name, title, image, and organization. We reserve the right to remove anyone from the Summit that does not adhere to this or refuses to change such representations when asked by us.
You agree to comply with all reasonable instructions issued by us while at the Summit.
We encourage you to meet with and visit all of the great organizations and companies who will be joining us as official partners and exhibitors at the Summit. However, the views or opinions expressed by any Summit attendee, speaker, partner or exhibitor are not our views or opinions. All Summit attendees, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors are responsible for their own content (including presentations, marketing collateral, advertising and online web content).
As a Summit attendee you’ll be virtually walking around wearing a virtual summit badge. When you visit a partner or exhibitor and engage with their virtual booth, you are opting to share your information with this party which equates to a virtual badge scan. Engagement is considered when you enter a virtual booth, click on any hyperlinks or engage in a chat with the partner or exhibitor within their virtual booth. When your badge is scanned by a partner or exhibitor during the Summit, you’re opting in to receiving communications from that entity. You will be subject to their communications and privacy policy and will have to opt out with them directly if you later decide to do so.
During the event networking sessions, you may meet other participants and wish to share your details with each other. You will be given the opportunity to opt in to sharing your contact information with each person you meet during the Summit.
Photography (including screen shots), audio or video recordings, and/or transmissions of the Summit or any portion thereof, is prohibited. We reserve the right to remove anyone conducting unauthorized recordings or photography. Any participant who conducts unauthorized recordings or photography hereby transfers ownership to us or our assigns, and must delete any such unauthorized recordings or photos.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may from time to time take photos and videos at the Summit. We reserve the right to use all images, videos and audio files taken at the Summit that include participants, including yourself. By virtually attending the Summit, you consent to having your image, voice, likeness and/or presentation recorded. We reserve the right to use such images, recordings and videos without notice or compensation.

We will collect, use, and share data that you have provided when registering for the Summit for the purposes of facilitating your attendance to the Summit and as otherwise indicated in these Terms and our Privacy Policy. By using this website, submitting a registration form, and/or attending the Summit, you consent to having your personal data collected, used, transferred to and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and these Terms.
We may share your registration information with other companies involved in the Summit to help improve your experience.
We will not sell your personal data to any third parties.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in these Terms, we shall have no liability for any loss, damage, cost, claim or penalty of whatsoever nature, including but not limited to indirect and consequential damages and loss of profits, however arising out of or in connection with these Terms, this website, the Summit, or your attendance at the event.
You assume all responsibility and risk for the use of this website and/or attendance to or registration for the Summit.
By registering and attending the Summit, you agree and acknowledge that you are participating in the event and any activities on your own free and intentional will. You acknowledge that you hereby assume responsibility for your own wellbeing.
Please be aware that we may update and change any part or all of these Terms at any time without notification. We will post any updates or changes to these Terms at https://www.retailcrimesummit.com, upon which time the updated Terms will become effective and binding immediately. We encourage you to review these Terms prior to attending and participating at the Summit. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not register for, or attend, the Summit.
